Code of Conduct

Pursuant to Idaho Code §67-5282(1)(f), the Chief Administrative Law Judge is to “[e]stablish a hearing officer code of conduct that shall, among other things, provide for independent and unbiased decision-making by law judges both as perceived and in fact and provide for a system to monitor compliance with, and sanction violations of, the hearing officer code of conduct.”

OAH’s first Code of Conduct went into effect on October 20, 2022; it was most recently revised on August 1, 2025. A copy of the current Code of Conduct is available here:

Guidelines
